Configuration of service using S7-PCI300.INI

At startup the S7NetPLCCommSvc service parses the file S7-PCI300.INI.

If no file is found, then the first found S7-PCI315 device is configured for the PU channel (slot 2) and for HMI access on slot 3.

Layout of INI

The S7-PCI300.INI has a section named [S7-PCI300].There is a key for the PU named "PG", that contains a serial number as value. Every configured S7-PCI315 PLC owns a key named by its serial number and the assigned slot as value.Valid slot values are from 3 to 11. The serial number is printed on a label on S7-PCI315 board.

Example

The example listed below contains two S7-PCI315 boards configured on slot 3 and 7. The key "PG" identifies, which board is accessible via the PU channel (slot 2), too.

[S7-PCI300]
PG=1800410-20006
1800410-20010=3
