PU functions with STEP®7 or S7 for Windows® via MPI/PROFIBUS, via Ethernet using the ISO-On-TCP (RFC1006) or the IBHNet protocol. Alternatively the communication can take place via a virtual PC Adaptor.

Visualizations can connect via MPI/PROFIBUS, ISO-On-TCP (RFC1006), the IBHLink protocol or via the optional IBH OPCServer for visualization PC.
