The former PDF manuals have been converted into current online wiki documentation. These pages cover IBH OPC UA Server/Client 6.10, the 64-bit Windows and Linux PC versions, the IBH OPC UA Editor, access to optimized data blocks, and the new Copilot server-based licensing process.
Current online manuals
| Manual | Contents |
|---|---|
| Startup and commissioning | Installation, Web Configurator, networking, security, certificates, licensing, project transfer, functional test and diagnostics |
| PLC examples with TIA Portal | Current IBH OPC UA Editor workflow, optimized data blocks, History, Client functions, alarms, SoftPLC and multiple CPUs |
| PLC examples with STEP7 / SIMATIC Manager | STEP7 project import, SIMATIC PC station, structures, History, Client functions, routing and multiple CPUs |
| Licensing | Online activation and manual activation using a signed JSON license file |
| IBH OPC UA Editor | Installation and complete operation of the current editor |
Example projects
The example projects originate from the former training manuals. Before using them, verify the CPU type, firmware, IP addresses and project version, and adapt them to the target plant.
Archived PDF editions
The PDF files remain available as references for their extensive screenshots and training examples. They document version 5.27 and therefore contain outdated information, especially the former licensing process and the old IBH OPC Editor.
