For installation of the S7-PCI315 PLC, proceed as follows:

  1. Disconnect the power plug of the PC.
  2. Open the PC case.
  3. Plug the S7-PCI315 PLC in a free PCI slot.
  4. Fix the S7-PCI315 PLC using the hole intended.
  5. Close the PC casing.
  6. Connect the external 24 V power supply.
  7. Connect the PC to the power supply and switch on the PC.
