IBH OPC UA Server/Client

  IBH OPC UA Server/Client

The IBH OPC UA Server/Client is a 64-bit software solution for Windows and Linux PCs. For S7-1200 and S7-1500, it supports access to optimized data blocks. It provides controller and device data via OPC UA and can also exchange data with other OPC UA servers through its integrated client functions. Administration is performed in the Web Configurator; projects are created and transferred with the free IBH OPC UA Editor.

Function overview

Depending on the target system and license scope, the following functions are available:

• OPC UA Server for providing data from controllers and devices
• OPC UA Client for reading and writing data from other OPC UA servers
• Connection to SIMATIC controllers, including S7-1200 and S7-1500 with access to optimized data blocks
• Configuration with the IBH OPC UA Editor and import of STEP7 and TIA Portal projects
• OPC UA security with certificate management and signed and encrypted connections
• Alarms & Conditions and historical data
• MQTT connectivity to brokers and cloud services
• Web Configurator for administration, diagnostics, configuration backup and restore
• integrated S7 SoftPLC

Current licensing preferably uses online activation through the Copilot license server with a license serial number and an eight-digit secret. Manual activation with a signed JSON license file is available for offline systems.
