The service/daemon must be configured. The slot number of a PLC rack must be assigned to a physical S7-PCI315 in the PC. This way it is known, which slot number will be routed to which board.
NOTE: IF THE CONFIG FILE (S7-PCI300.INI) IS NOT EXISTANT OR NO INSTALLED BOARD IS CONFIGURED, THE FIRST FOUND DEVICE IS CONFIGURED FOR SLOT 2 FOR PU ACCESS. ADDITIONALLY A LOG MESSAGE IS LISTED IN THE USER INTERFACE.

Serial number
The serial number is build by the two numbers 'DeviceNumber' and 'SerialNo'.
The serial number is printed on the box of S7-PCI315 PLC.
According to this picture the serial number 1800410-20016 is given.
The serial number is printed on a label on top of theS7-PCI315 PLC.
According to this picture the serial number 1701430-21651 is given.
The separate "4" in the numbers on the image identifies the hardware revision.
