In case the ''S7 for Windows®'' or STEP®7 programming unit is logged in, the PLC state can be altered, without using the physical switch.

Please pay attention: This may result in a condition where the programming unit switches the PLC into mode STOP while the physical switch is still in position RUN and during the next boot up cycle the PLC will go the automatically into RUN mode unintended. Please move the switch into position STOP to prevent an unintended restart.
