Beneath the symbol you will find also a chemical symbol added for a particular metal if the battery contains more than a specific percentage of it. The chemical symbols Cd stands for Cadmium, Hg for mercury and Pb for lead. Those are pollutants the environment never shall be contaminated with.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
