In '''''S7 for Windows<sup>®</sup>''''' the support is already fully integrated. If STEP<sup>®</sup>7 is used, the '''''IBH Link''''' can be entered in the project as dummy station. If the PG is networked over Ethernet TCP/IP, all stations behind the '''''IBH Link''''' can be accessed MPI<sup>®</sup> as well as via PROFIBUS.

* Via &quot;PLC ⇒ Edit Ethernet Node...&quot; the '''''IBH Link''''' can be searched, identified and configured. The procedure is identical to any SIMATIC<sup>®</sup> node.
* If the MPI<sup>®</sup> and the IP-address of the '''''IBH Link''''' are known, it can be integrated in a S7 Project as PLC 6ES7 412-2EK06-0AB0 V6.0 via MPI<sup>®</sup>.
